Sesame 250 gm — a quarter kilo of hulled sesame in a vacuum pack.

The larger pack of hulled sesame seeds, vacuum-sealed to keep the oils from turning. Pale, clean seeds that are mild and milky raw and turn deeply nutty within two minutes in a dry pan. This is the size for anyone who bakes bread, makes their own dukkah or tahini, or simply gets through sesame faster than a small jar allows.

How to use:

• Toast in batches and store in a jar for the week
• Grind into tahini, or into dukkah with nuts and spices
• Coat bread, biscuits and halva before baking
